About Us
We are, in short, a user generated content site. Our goal is to ensure that content reasonably resembles current events, but this requirement is incredibly flexible. The intention behind Mizozo is to give people a platform to not only report on events, but properly discuss them, beyond simple comments. All registered users will be able to append content directly to each article.
Not only are we user generated content, but the plan is to return 40% of all revenue coming in to Mizozo back to users who provide content. While this number isn’t fixed, or even implemented at this time, we plan to enable this feature exactly one year after incorporation: January 1st, 2013. In order to do this, Publishers will be paid monthly for traffic and the remainder of the money will be handed out through contests and promotions.
Mizozo true uniqueness lies in the business model. We intend to be the first completely transparent corporation. All money coming in and out will be publicly available to all registered users. Likewise, all aspects of Mizozo’s day to day will be available for everyone to see and everyone to be involved with. Our entire business will be an open book.
The current plan of revenue distribution is a 60/40 split with 60% going to development, upkeep and the like and 40% being returned to all Publishers. We hope to cap all management to no more than 10%, and hopefully this number will drop as revenues increase. Our primary goal at Mizozo isn’t to make money but to make a great product. Of course, money is important, but user experience and user satisfaction is substantially more important. Most important, however, is the fact that Mizozo stays one step ahead of those that wish to silence her … Join the Revolution and help make this a reality.
