Dr Marie Catherine Klarkowski: Dentist and staff wears low-cut dresses to distract (and attract) patients!
Dr Marie Catherine Klarkowski, a dentist in Munich, bought low-cut dresses, frilled blouses in the same style with low cut cleavages and tight bodices that work like a push-up bra, for herself and nurses to distract patients as she works on their teeth. She got the idea after watching men enjoying looking at traditional low-cut Dirndl dresses during Oktoberfest.
Dr Marie-Catherine Klarkowski said: ‘The most important thing is to take away patients’ fear. The sight of cleavages gets patients narcotised and distracted from the pain rather quickly.

The idea has been a hit as the dentist has 3 times more patients - not surprisingly mostly men. Not only the dresses, the practice has gone through a change into a Alpine lounge’ with open fireplace, deer antlers on the wall and wooden benches for patients. They even have new mp3 players that filters out the sound of a dentist’s drill
‘The competition doesn’t sleep. I know colleagues who have decorated their whole practice with Mickey Mouse and one even in Star Trek style,’ added the 41-year-old. And the nurses say the £430 costumes do it for them, too.
‘I much prefer working in a dirndl, I enjoy looking good at work and it’s a lot more fun since we had the new outfits,’ said employee Larisa Hrustic.

She can clean my teeth any day. There is nothing like a good show while you are getting a necessary procedure done.
Just curious, but are there special cases that have a happy ending? Maybe a root canal? That would keep my mind off the pain for sure ;)
