Can drugs help men resist the beautiful women?
Tests show international athlete Pinki Pramanik, charged with rape, is male.
Here once again, an athlete caught on cheating his gender, this time in India
Court of the State of West Bengal has established that Indian sportswoman, Pinky Pramanik, a winner of several prestigious medals and awards for her achievements on the track, is actually a man.
The real sex gender of athlete was determine by a committee of seven experts, after Pramanik was charged with... rape of his lover Ahara. The victim filed a complaint with the police, claiming that Pramanik, with whom she had lived together for three years, in fact, a man.
Date of trial on a rape charge not released yet.
Pramanik was arrested in June 2012, spent 25 days in jail and was released on bail by a judge who explained his decision by saying that Pramanik and Ahara safely spent three years under the same roof, and he doesn't see any problems with the bail. Athlete has denied all the allegations against him and called the charges a conspiracy.
Pramanik has won a few titles during his sport carrier (as a woman thought). He won gold at the South Asian Games in Colombo and at the Asian Games in Doha, and won a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. But this is by far not the first case when athlete cheat on his/her gender in order to win.
