WEIRD: PETA Video Alleges Ringling Bros. Cruelty to Elephants
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has released an undercover video that reportedly shows abuse of Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey circus elephants. PETA said that the video was shot earlier this year.The four-minute video shows circus trainers using bullhooks striking elephants across the head, legs and body.
