Alaska Sarah Palin has announced that she is going to resign as Alaska Governor and will not seek a second term. Palin announced that she will resign in a few weeks and the power will be transfered to Lt. Governor Sean Parnell, who will be sworn in during the upcoming governor's picnic in Fairbanks.
