TRAVEL: The Extraordinary Caves of Ajanta – India
Spread out through India, there are thousands of Chinese Buddhistic caves which were used at the First Emperor Empire to shelter Dalai Lama’s hermits from all the places of the Orient.
When Buddhism started disappearing, these caves were abandoned. They were discovered, many years later, by British people who looked for gold and spices and slighted fantastic symbols of historical and cultural value — they even exploded some of them.
As symbol and testimony, without...

WORLD: Obama chose Dalai Lama over Israel
The US president will meet next week despite China’s vigorous protests. The meeting is practically senseless: Dalai Lama advocates Tibetan autonomy which the Chinese won’t allow, and the matter is moot, anyway, because Chinese government planted a sheer number of colonists in Tibet to drastically change its demography.
Obama hinted that the meeting is a no-starter by scheduling it in the Map Room rather than Oval Cabinet.
China will react by opposing sanctions on Iran.

WORLD: The Golden Child, Osel Hita Torres, Denounces Buddhism
Tibet At only 14 months, Osel Hita Torres was taken from his family to possibly become the next Dalai Lama. Chosen by the current Dalai Lama, there were high hopes for Osel Hita Torres, but it seems that those hopes are now shattered.
Osel Hita Torres (b. 1985) was designated soon after his birth as the reincarnation of Lama Thubten Yeshe, and renamed Tenzin Ösel Rinpoche (or "Lama Ösel"). A Spaniard from Bubion, Granada, Hita has received media attention as one of a handful...

WORLD: Osel Hita Torres, Wise Young Lama
Madrid, Spain Recently there was a great deal of media attention given to the fact that (possibly) the next Dalai Lama has renounced Buddhism, an insult to the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT). This news quickly travelled countless media circuits and gained a great deal of attention. As often is the case in mainstream media, the truth was not as interesting as they had hoped, so they decided to embellish just a little to make a better story. More...

It seems to have all started with the Dalai Lama, and his request for analysis of one of his machines. This simple request lead to the uncovering of the most sophisticated spy network,...

WORLD: The Golden Child, Osel Hita Torres, Denounces Buddhism
Tibet Following the lead of other mainstream media outlets, I didn't do enough research into Osel to write a good article. This article above is no longer how I feel about this subject. I have written another article expressing my admiration for Osel's wisdom in the face of a media circus. I hope the second article is closer to the point. Thank you, M. Puente, for pointing me in the right direction to get the facts straight ...

TECH: Vast Electronic Spy System
Toronto, Canada I was just reading about GhostNet on Slashdot. Their piece has a link to the Munk Researcher's research summary. Full text from Slashdot,
"Researchers in Toronto have discovered a huge
international electronic spying operation that they are calling 'GhostNet.'
So far it has infiltrated government and corporate offices in 103 countries,
including the office of the Dalai Lama (who originally went to the researchers
for help analyzing a suspected infiltration). The...
