Government Motors ... er, General Motors, has announced that its team of highly ambitious young engineers are working on a revolutionary new heads up display.  Currently, many have probably seen, or at least heard of, the HUD that appears directly above the steering wheel, allowing the driver to see in either night vision, a GPS system, or general warning signs.  The engineers at GM seem to think that this is quite limiting, why not make the entire windshield a HUD?  ... yeah,... Detroit, Michigan General Motors filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Monday, June 1, 2009, as part of President Obama’s plan to shrink the automaker to a sustainable size and give a majority ownership stake to the federal government. Obama’s plan is for the federal government to take a 60% ownership stake in the new GM (Government Motors?). The Canadian government would take 12.5% of the company.
