WORLD: Iraqis will long for Saddam yet
Two suicide bombers killed 40, wounded 150 pilgrims in Iraq near Karbalah. As the US troops withdraw by August, Iraq might descend in chaos of terrorism.
So far, Shiite groups refrained from retaliating for various terrorist acts against them. The Sadr militia and other Iranian-backed groups show restraint to avoid prompting Americans to delay the withdrawal. But after August, they will act.
When quite everyone lauded the US Army’s surge tactics, we said that the results would be...

WORLD: Israeli justice on par with Iraq's
A year ago, when Bush was in Baghdad, Muntadar al Zaidi opened the era of modern shoe-throwing. Israeli citizen Pinchas Cohen learned from his example and threw his sneakers at abominable Dorit Beinisch, president of Israeli Supreme Court, a ultra-left scoundrel who is personally responsible for hundreds of casualties among Jews through her irresponsible rulings on security issues.
Like al Zaidi, Cohen had been indicted for criminal assault though his shoes posed regrettably no threat to...

WORLD: Angry Reactions Result From News of "Jesus Scopes"
Muslim groups reacted angrily to the news that so-called "Jesus scopes" were being used by the U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan. The story, first reported by ABC News, noted that Michigan-based contractor Trijicon had sold up to 800,000 of the sights, which have coded Bibilical references, to the U.S. military. A Trijicon spokesman said the practice began under its founder, Glyn Bindon, who was a devout Christian from South Africa. He was killed in a 2003 plane crash, ironically between...

WORLD: Russia Caused The Iraq War!
A few weeks ago I was reading about the statements from the British that literally blamed Russia for the Iraq war. I thought about this for a little bit and did some checking around as to why the British would make this statement!Read this:Blair’s ex-foreign policy adviser Sir John Sawers said Russia blocked the “smart sanctions” against Iraq, which the US and British delegations lobbied for in the UN Security Council in 2001. In Sawers’ view, this stance of Russia made...

WORLD: Blackwater Handed Out Over $1 Million in Bribes to Iraqi Officials
As Blackwater's (now Xe) reputation deteriorates, US Government contracts aren't slowing in pace. It turns out that after the September 2007 incident in which Blackwater mercenaries slaughtered 17 Iraqi civilians, Blackwater executives quickly turned to bribery in order to quell the calls to oust Blackwater from Iraq.
Top executives at Blackwater Worldwide authorized secret payments of about $1 million to Iraqi officials that were intended to silence their criticism and buy...

WORLD: NATO and Russia
According to Quentin Peel, from “Financial Times”, NATO faces a dilemma. What is the purpose of NATO – offence of defense? Well, in my opinion, after destruction in Yugoslavia there should not be any question at all, but… some people hide their head in sand and pretend it never happened. Never the less in that article Mr. Peel noting that new members of NATO don’t really care of what is going on in Iraq or Afghanistan, they care how to turn NATO...

WEIRD: Video: George Bush Rated as the Worlds Worst Person
George Bush has now broken another record ... being labeled by the Worlds Worst Person. Of course, this is an MSNBC label, which doesn't mean a great deal, but the video is quite convincing. The premise is very common knowledge these days, George Bush had planned to attack Iraq long before the "weapons of mass destruction" were NOT found, and Tony Blair was well aware of the fact. Now that criminal charges are being considered for the Blair administration, interesting...
