According to a Poll conducted by ABC news, 81% of Americans are in favor of legalizing medical marijuana.  More and more people are beginning to see the benefits in medical marijuana.  In 1997 only 67% of those polled were in favor of legalizing medical marijuana. Breckenridge, Colorado Marijuana Legalization seems to be getting closer every day.  While Denver, Colorado is looking to make money by taxing medical marijuana, Breckenridge, Colorado has just overwhelmingly voted in favor of legalizing marijuana altogether.    Early returns Tuesday night showed the proposal winning with 72 percent of the vote.   The voters of city of Oakland, CA, have approved the first tax on medical marijuana in the country. The city has four dispensaries that took in about $19.7 million in revenue in the last fiscal year.
