WORLD: Indonesian Ferry Sinks resulting in 29 dead and 240 rescued
Indonesia At least 29 people have died and 240 resuced as an Indonesian ferry Dumai Express 10 sank Sunday near the Sumatra Island off the Riau province of Indonesia.
The total number of people on board is unknown since the ferry is reported to have been filled by far more than its capacity of 273.
The director-general of sea transport said 213 passengers were on the manifest. He said the disparity between reality and the manifest was a "classic case" of breaking...

Orange Park, Florida Seven year old second grader Somer Renee Thompson did not return from her Clay County school on Monday afternoon.
She lives in the Grove Park neighborhood and was seen a few block from her home at about 2:45 p.m., according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office. Brazil The Air Force Airbus A330 flight (flight no AF447) that went missing last Sunday night has now been declared as crashed in the Atlantic Ocean. WORLD: Air France Flight 447 vanishes between Brazil and Paris; 228 on board
Brazil Air France flight AF447 with 228 on board (216 passengers and 12 crew members) lost contact near Brazil's coast while making the 11 hour journey between Brazil's Rio de Janerio Airport and France's Charles de Gaulle Airport. WORLD: Justice for Somer
Orange Park, Florida Seven-year old Somer Thompson went missing on Monday when she was returning back from school. On Wednesday, her dead body was found in a landfill about 50 miles away in Georgia after investigators followed garbage trucks from her neighborhood.
Police are combing the sidewalk for clues where Somer was last seen.
Now as the search for a missing girl turns into the search for her killer, the garbage trucks may again play a pivotal role. Investigators will presumably try to pinpoint the trash...
