WORLD: Something fishy about Iran
A week after Iran offered us the best opportunity for an attack, Israel did not carry it out. Time is running out quickly as Iran has enriched its 4% uranium to 20%, thus greatly reducing the size of its stocks. Smaller stocks will be easier to hide.
After three months of enrichment, no Israeli attack will be able to eliminate Iran’s nuclear stocks.
Every sane person understands that sanctions are futile. Not only they are torpedoed by Russia and China, but even the strongest sanctions...

WORLD: Nigerian Coup
A few overseas sources are reporting that there is currently a coup underway in Niger. Forces – currently unidentified – are trying to forcibly remove the quasi-dictator Mamadou Tandja from power. It seems to be a coup d’état as opposed to a general uprising since smoke is reported to be coming from Tandja’s palace but there are no report of general violence beyond the normal “background noise” of Nigerian society.
Supposedly Tandja’s guardsmen...

WORLD: What kind of war would it be?
The Egyptians blew the whistle: Israeli and US navies operate in the Persian Gulf. The only plausible reason is to prepare commando landings, as the Egyptians had correctly figured out. Special troops will deactivate Iranian air defenses and clear the way for Israeli strike. IAF landing on American aircraft carriers in Persian Gulf is a very remote possibility.
If true, the attack would mark another touch of genius, right after we saw one in the Gaza war. Commando raids so deep into the enemy...

WORLD: NATO Wants Russia to Believe - but Russia Does Not Believe in NATO!
NATO Wants Russia to believe:
"NATO is not an enemy of Russia," NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said in an interview on the sidelines of a security conference in Munich.
Russia does not believe NATO:
President Dmitry Medvedev signed into approval his country's new military doctrine Friday. The doctrine identifies one of the "main external threats of war" as NATO's expansion east to Russia's borders, and it sees U.S. plans to create an anti-missile shield in Europe as a concern...

WORLD: Israel cannot use JSF F-35 in war
The US administration denied Israel the right to maintain F-35 jets which she is about to purchase. The planes have to be flown to Italy every time they need maintenance. That bars Israel from using the jets in a war or any large operation which requires immediate maintenance.
At $130 million a piece, the planes will be anyway too expensive to risk them in combat. Israel eyes the jets mostly as the only way to spend US military aid which must be used to purchase American armaments. Israel...

WORLD: California May See Early Legalization
Sacramento, California It looks like only a matter of time before California sees legalized marijuana. The 2010 ballot will probably have a vote on the issue, and tomorrow there is going to be a formal hearing on a bill.
On Tuesday, January 12, the Public Safety Committee will conduct a formal hearing on Assemblyman Tom Ammiano's marijuana legalization bill, AB 390. Following the hearing the committee will vote and, if the bill is approved, there will then be a second hearing and vote in the Health...

WORLD: Russia Caused The Iraq War!
A few weeks ago I was reading about the statements from the British that literally blamed Russia for the Iraq war. I thought about this for a little bit and did some checking around as to why the British would make this statement!Read this:Blair’s ex-foreign policy adviser Sir John Sawers said Russia blocked the “smart sanctions” against Iraq, which the US and British delegations lobbied for in the UN Security Council in 2001. In Sawers’ view, this stance of Russia made...

WORLD: As America Slaughters Innocent Afghanis, Obama Refuses to Acknowledge a Second Vietnam
With civilian casualties escalating in Afghanistan and American troops dying in ever greater number, it is difficult to ignore the parallels between this war and the Vietnam war almost half a century ago. This never ending war has been condemned by many of America's military strategists with claims that it is an unwinnable war and the USA will eventually be forced to withdraw with no victory in sight. Barack Obama disagrees with this, but so far his policies haven't instilled a...

WORLD: Thugs Attack Red Cross
It seems that the subhuman thugs in the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and SEIU unions are more interested in maintaining their control and privileges than in the lives of American men, women, and children.
As America entered into winter and the holiday season, a time of year when blood donations are at their lowest levels and are the most urgently needed, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, SEIU’s sister union and member of the filth, Anna Burger’s Change to Win...
