A cities grow, they inevitably change. Some cities, such as Dubai, seem to change overnight. Other cities, such as New York City, take a far more gradual approach.
New York City has been called by some as the Capital of the World. It is called by far more as the Financial Capital of the World, and by many living in the area as the pollution capital. Everybody on the planet has heard of New York City, has seen its marvelous skyscrapers and has at the very least wished to visit the majestic city.
Not as many people, however, have seen how New York City has changed over the years. In just under 100 years, New York City has completely transformed itself from a metropolis to global hub of business and trade.
Below you can find a series of 10 New York City locations. Each location has a before and after photo, some dating back almost 100 years. It is amazing to see how the city has grown, and I hope you will join me as I marvel in the cities greatness.
