WEIRD: If you're caught speeding, don't tell the cops that you're chasing the guy that stole your pot
I have said this time and time again ... stupid people should stay away from a life of crime. While it may seem like the gravy train, the train wreck in the end will leave you scarred for life. Lets take Ryan Neaus as our most recent example ...
While Ryan Neaus was doing his thing, selling Marijuana and Ecstasy, one of his customers decided to take advantage of him by robbing him of a few bags of Marijuana and his iPhone and taking off in his 'getaway car'. Well, Ryan will have none of that, so he took off after him ... and this is where the story gets funny ...
In the particular neighborhood that Ryan was speeding after his thieving culprit, it turns out that the local police were conducting a Buckle Up campaign ... this is a different form of thievery, but since it is legal thievery we wont get involved in it right now.
An officer notices Ryan driving at an extremely high rate of speed and switching lanes without using turn signals. For obvious reasons, Ryan was stopped. Now, logic would tell you that when stopped by a police officer you would avoid informing him that you have anything to do with illegal substances, especially when you have some on your person ... well, logic escapes Ryan once again. Ryan tells the police officer that he was speeding because he was chasing someone who stole marijuana from him. Brilliant!
During a traffic stop, police say they observed a glass bowl used for smoking marijuana on the front seat in plain view. Police also found 15 individually packaged baggies of marijuana and 13 ecstasy pills during a search of the vehicle.
Police say the driver, Ryan Neaus, 21, of 824 Seybert St., Hazleton, told them he was speeding “because he was chasing the person who just robbed him of his Apple iPhone and three bags of marijuana.”
Neaus was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
He was also cited with careless driving and failure to wear a seatbelt.

Well, one more stupid criminal off the streets. Unfortunately, not for too long ... I am sure Ryan will be working his corner by the end of the summer.
