Crossville, Alabama --
Late Tuesday, Oralia Ramirez, 37, was pulled over for a traffic violation at Kilpatrick, Alabama but on search was found to have a pound of methamphetamine worth $13,000 padded in her bra.
Agents with the Marshall County Drug Enforcement Unit and DeKalb County Drug Task Force stopped a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim at the intersection of Alabama Highways 68 and 168 at Kilpatrick for a traffic offense.
Oralia Ramirez, 37, Cedartown, Ga., agreed to be searched, and Crossville Police Department Officer Ada Hamilton found about a pound of meth in her bra.
Ramirez was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance.
The street value of the meth found on Ramirez is approximately $13,000.
"This was obviously a large amount of meth that we are very pleased to have out of our county," Harris said. "We really appreciate the Marshall County DEU and Officer Hamilton for their roles in this arrest. It's always good to remove such a substantial amount of drugs from potential release into our communities."Source: www.gadsdentimes.com
