WEIRD: Canadian doctor Doctor accused of sex with disabled patient; Assaults may date back to 1994
Dr. Justin Fuminori Onzuka, 36, was arrested on Monday August 24th 2009 after being accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a disabled woman while he was working at a Hamilton hospital. The woman claims that she was assaulted in 2005.
Onzuka, who has practised emergency medicine in Toronto, Hamilton and Mississauga, was charged with criminal harassment, sexual assault, administering a noxious thing, sexual exploitation of a person with a disability and breach of trust. He was also charged with criminal harassment for allegedly stalking a former McMaster University classmate.
Russell said Onzuka has provided information about other incidents but no names. Police are tracking down those who have been identified and further charges are pending, Russell said.
"If (victims) had gone in for treatment, they might not be aware that they were assaulted," Russell said. "They may not have been conscious at the time."

On , the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario suspended his licence pending the results of a hearing on his fitness to practise. Further details on the suspension are not available. Since the suspension, Onzuka has worked as a clinical lecturer at Ontario IMG School and as a part-time instructor at Redeemer University College in Ancaster, Ont.

The police said they are still interviewing potential victims from the Hamilton, Toronto and Mississauga areas.
If guilty, he should be severly punished for making a mockery of the doctor-patient relationship.
