Donna D'Errico 'Ghost Porn' ?

First, former "Baywatch" star Donna D'Errico accused the Transportation Security Administration of singling out attractive female celebrities to go through body scans, and now foreign news agencies are reporting that a copy of her body scan is starting to circulate. According to some newspapers, D'Errico's body scan is available somewhere, but an independent investigation has been unable to prove the existence of what insiders are calling "ghost porn" because they look like ethereal erotica with the faces left to the imagination.

However, TSA spokesman Nico Melendez insists it's impossible to capture the scanner images of air travel passengers. "The scanners that we use are not equipped to save the images," he insisted. "There are similar scanners used by the U.S. Marshals' office, but not the TSA." D'Errico first made her accusations that she was unfairly singled out by TSA officials. According to the 42-year-old former Playboy centerfold, the incident happened before Thanksgiving and occurred at Los Angeles International Airport, where she was getting ready to board a flight to Pittsburgh with her 17-year-old son. D'Errico was the only person asked to go through a body scan and when she asked why, she says the official told her, "Because you caught my eye and they [pointing to the other passengers] didn't."

Although D'Errico was the first celebrity to speak out against the scans and body searches, she was by no means the last. In the days since D'Errico told her story to AOL News, Khloe Kardashian has come out with her own allegations of TSA touchy-feeliness and compared the body scans and searches to being raped; and Indian Ambassador Meera Shankar was forced to undergo a pat-down at a Mississippi airport, reportedly on grounds that she was wearing a sari. Now there's a fear that the body scan photos aren't as private as the TSA claims.

But D'Errico's "ghost porn" image -- if it does exist -- may not be the most compelling image from her TSA experience. On her Facebook page, D'Errico claimed she was told that TSA officials are trying to find the airport surveillance tape of her encounter in a possible attempt to discredit her story.
