WORLD: "Naked" Body Scanner Misuse: Security agent warned over ogling at Colleague's scan and making lewd comment about her breasts
Full body scanners or "Naked" body scanners are becoming common nowadays. Airline travellers are getting used to the concept of letting some stranger view the scan of their naked body for the sake of security. But, this technology can easily be misused.
On March 10 2010, 29-year old Jo Margetson was working at Terminal 5 of London's Heathrow Airport, when she accidentally entered the X-ray machine. Her pervert colleague, 25 year old John Laker quickly took her picture with the scanner. After ogling at the scan that shows people naked, he told her - "I love those gigantic tits."
Both work for airport operator BAA. Last night Jo told The Sun at her home in Stanwell, Middlesex: "I can't bear to think about the body scanner thing.
"I'm totally traumatised. I've spoken to the police about it. I'm in too much of a state to go to work."Source: www.thesun.co.uk
John Laker was quizzed by the police about the incidence and ended up getting a a formal warning for harassment, which is one level below a caution.

"Naked" Body Scanner Misuse: Security agent warned over ogling at Colleague's scan and making lewd comment about her breasts
Seems like Ms Jo Margetson has filed complaints with regards to the incidence. She claims that there was no "lewd remark" during the incidence.
Check below -
Complainant Name:
Ms Jo Margetson
Clauses Noted: 1, 3
Publication: Daily Star
Complaint:
Ms Jo Margetson complained to the Press Complaints Commission that an article, which reported that she had been the subject of a lewd remark in an incident involving an airport scanner, contained inaccuracies. Ms Margetson said she had originally complained to her employer about the misuse of body scanner equipment (which had been used to image her without her knowledge or consent) not about lewd comments (though she was not allowed to clarify precise details). The incident had taken place when the complainant was, unknowingly, in a position whereby her body was viewable by the scanner.
In particular, the article included a quote (originally reported by The Sun) attributed to the complainant. Ms Margetson denied the accuracy of the quote and said it had been falsely attributed to her in circumstances where she refused to comment to The Sun journalist. Indeed, the complainant made clear she had not sought to give her story to the media and had not accepted any payment for information.
Resolution:
After the PCC initiated an investigation, the newspaper, which had followed up the original story in the Sun, agreed to remove the article from its website. The complaint was resolved on this basis.
Did she change the complaint due to pressure from others or it was just a wrong report, we will probably never know!

NO THAT IS NOT CORRECT: "She claims that there was no "lewd remark" during the". FYI: She didn't report him for that as explained on the PCC website, and at this stage what pressure, surely that's done!
