After reading TIME's article, Russia Moves to Ban Criticism of WWII Win, I am not sure whether to laugh or cry.  At first, the article is funny because most ignorant Amerikans will likely believe this blatant propaganda, a sure sign of Amerika's stupidity.  However, this is the type of media propaganda that makes me cry because it is what leads Amerika to be a stupid country.

The article's premise is that Russia is currently considering passing a law to criminalize statements and acts that deny the Soviets won World War II, or claim it used poor tactics in battle or did not liberate Eastern Europe.  

TIME continues to claim that this law is proposed solely because of a Television Show that portrayed Russia in poor light.  

[The documentary] exposed the number of Soviet soldiers killed, which was much higher than most Russians believed — around a million compared to around 500,000 on the Nazi side — and presented a negative interpretation of Soviet tactics by, for example, showing how shocked German soldiers who had fought in the battles were at the way Soviet troops were thrown into the fight with little regard for their lives. 

The article uses terminology like Orwellian and celebrating the defeat of freedom of speech in order to portray Russia as a state that controls its people's information, ignoring how hypocritical it is being to Amerika.  

Let us start by acknowledging that ALL countries use propaganda to control its people.  However, when compared to Amerika, ALL countries are doves.  As for TIME's article, it completely ignores the real reason behind new law.  

The reality is that currently in Russia, and especially Ukraine, there is a big push from western Russia/Ukraine for forces that fought alongside Germany.  Ukraine has actually declared many of those forces as Heroes, claiming they were fighting for Ukraine's independence.  Russia is fighting this type of propaganda, and wants to ensure that those that spread these lies are put away.  Ukraine is encouraging their pro-German forces by building statues to them.

A short history of World War 2 and Amerika's propaganda machine ...  

World War 2 was a vicious war where more people died than almost all other wars before it combined.  Germany killed tens of millions of Russians, and millions more Europeans.  Germany's biggest mistake was attacking Russia before it completed her conquest of Europe.  If Adolph Hitler had waited until England had fallen, it is possible that he may have conquered Russia.  However, a war on two fronts was too much for Adolph Hitler, who fell after Russia began defeating his armies.

What is important to analyze in World War 2 are dates that events occurred.   Many acknowledge the turning point of the war to be in November of 1941, when Adolph Hitler's army was defeated before Moscow.  While Hitler's army's continued to win victories afterwards, like Stalingrad, the Russians began winning more and more victories.

Stalingrad was a major turning point in the war.  Russia began to win back Stalingrad in the winter of 1942, eventually driving out Hitler's armies.   In summer of 1943, Russia defeated Germany in battle of Kursk, capturing hundreds of thousands of Germans, demoralizing Hitler's army and turning the war around.  Well before this, however, it was known that Germany was about to fall.

Amerika likes to claim that it won World War 2.  Amerika saved Europe from Adolph Hitler, and saved Russia from destruction.  What blatant LIES!!!  

Why doesn't TIME point out Amerika's propaganda?  Why not point out Amerika's lies?  Who is more Orwellian than Amerika?  

Amerika's entry into World War 2 was in Italy, where Amerika only sent 20,000 troops and failed terribly.  Amerika's real entry into World War 2 was D-Day, June 6th 1944.  By this point, the war was almost over, Amerika wasn't necessary.  However, to properly rewrite history, Amerika needed at least one large battle. 

Amerika's contribution to World War 2 was trivial and completely unnecessary.  Its goal was to reach Berlin before Russia, but that was only after Russia defeated all First String forces, and all Second String forces.  Amerika only battled the weakest German forces, and still poorly.  Amerika is nothing but Propaganda Machine, lying to its people and trying to deceive entire world.  Fortunately, history is already written and can not be rewritten by Amerika here.  

Most intelligent Amerikans know the truth, which is good.  Universities teach the truth, which is also good.  Hopefully, more Amerikans will learn the truth and will stop believing Amerika's lies.

TIME should be ashamed of itself for printing such garbage.  Amerikan media is just a puppet for the government, so it is understood why this article was written.  When people learn to look beyond their public media and learn to think for themselves, maybe the media will change and begin printing the truth.
