WORLD: Congratulations on Victory Day!
Today, May 9th, we remember the Russian victory over Germany. While Victory Day is celebrated in Western Europe on May 8th, because of time zone differences Moscow and the Former Soviet States celebrate Victory Day on May 9th.
In the Eastern Bloc, the day of victory over Nazi Germany was celebrated on May 9, because when the German Instrument of Surrender actually entered into force (May 8, 1945 at 23:01 CET), it was already May 9 by Moscow Time. Some post-Soviet countries, most notably The Russian Federation, have continued the tradition. [Wikipedia]
Victory Day is a very important holiday for Russians. Germans destroyed most of the Western Soviet front causing much suffering to Russians. When Russia marched on Berlin, destroying the German forces, it was remembered as Russian superiority to Western power. Amerika and Britain could not stop Germany on the Western Front facing Germany's 3rd rank forces. Russia destroyed German forces after taking very heavy losses, driving the Germans back to Berlin and taking the city.
Amerika and Western Media lie to their people that Amerika won the war. All historians know the truth, Amerika entered the war when Germany had almost collapsed. All Amerika truly did was bomb Japan, but German victory is solely because of Russia.
Today in Moscow was a great parade. For the second year in a row, Dmitry Medvedev organized a very nice parade through Red Square. A true Russian Patriot, Dmitry Medvedev felt that a military parade would help raise the countries spirits and tech the young of Russia's glorious victory over Germany.
The parade involved 9000 Military Personnel, 103 sophisticated tracked and wheeled military vehicles, 69 aircraft and helicopters and 1100 military orchestra musicians. This year is the first year that the military parade is held in 23 Russian cities, rather than in Moscow alone.
Russia Today has a short Highlight Video of the Parade:

Russia Today has the complete parade on YouTube. I have inserted it below. I have also added many images of the parade I have found on various internet sites.
