- There are Sinhalese people in jail - it is similar to saying that there are no white people in US jails
- Her dad was/is a LTTE Terrorist
- LTTE was a terrorist group and had been part of lot of suicide missions to kill lot of innocent people.
- UN etc are already there in Sri Lanka

There are two types of people in Sri Lanka right now -
One who love their country - in Majority
One who don't - in Minority

in this interview she was trying to stay up with Bill who works at a very fast pace. she had a certain "deer in the headlights" thing going for her. this was a place she left at 10... i'm not sure what makes her an expert.

I don't think she is dumb either. It is important to understand from the video that there is another perspective to the whole issue - Tamil side to the Sinhalese vs Tamil. Further, she is not a spokesperson for Sri Lanka's Tamil population but is just a celebrity who happens to be Tamil (she moved to UK when she was 10 as a refugee).

Most of the media has been reported Sinhalese side of the story but fails to mention the Tamil side.

Was LTTE a terrorist organization? Yes it was!

Is there a problem between Tamil and Sinhalese? Definitely yes!

Did Sri Lankan government commit a genocide against Tamil? Not sure.

The Tamil is no different from Palestinians. They are criminals that target civilians. It is a just cause to seek independence, but attacking blindly is no means to achieve this goal. I am glad the Tamils have been put in place, maybe Israel will do the same with Palestine too.
