World's Best Gate Crashers, the Salahis

Michaele and Tareq Salahi seem to be the world's best gate crashers. They crashed into one of the hottest dinner parties of the year, Obama's first state dinner, and went through world's best security, the secret service.

The Salahis have reported that they were in fact invited to the dinner and didn't crash it. There is speculation that the couple wants to be part of Bravo's upcoming reality show, "Real Housewives of DC" and this was their way of becoming instant celebrity (just like the balloon boy incidence)

On her Facebook profile, Michaele wrote -

I was honored to be invited to attend the First State Dinner hosted by President Obama & the First Lady to honor India. In June 2010, the America's Polo Cup will be between INDIA & the UNITED STATES. Please join me in this cultural celebration of politics, diplomacy, fashion, sports, entertainment & family fun.

Obviously the secret services are embarrassed by the incidence, but my reasoning is as follows -

It is not the first time a really good looking woman (esp. a tall blond) has got through lines or security with her charms? She was dressed for the occasion and was obviously looking good enough to be allowed! What do you guys think?
